Festhalle Frankfurt

For the 50th time, an extraordinary sporting and social event will take place in the Main metropolis shortly before Christmas: The International Festhalle Riding Tournament Frankfurt, one of the largest and most traditional horse shows in Germany, will once again delight the entire equestrian scene as well as young and old horse fans with an equally demanding and entertaining programme in a pre-Christmas atmosphere.

Another step into the future

Since Josef Neckermann launched the tournament in 1955, the Linsenhoff family has been involved in the tournament, initially through the “Frankfurter Turnierstall Schwarz-Gelb e.V.” with founding members Adolf Schindling, Fritz Linsenhoff and Liselott Linsenhoff.

After several changes of organizer and a break of 17 years, the Linsenhoff family has been actively involved in the tournament organization since 2003. Together with Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff, Paul Schockemöhle supported this legendary equestrian event from 2012 to 2018.

In 2019, the family took over the sole direction for the first time in order to anchor and further develop the international horse show as an annual equestrian meeting point in Frankfurt’s “Gudd Stubb”. Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff, Klaus-Martin Rath and Matthias Alexander Rath form the family management trio. They are supported by a committed and competent team.

Final NÜRNBERGER BURG-POKAL

The NÜRNBERGER BURG-POKAL is the most important tournament series in the promotion of youngsters for seven to nine year old dressage horses at the St. Georg Special level. Year after year, the grand finale of this prize is held as part of the International Festhalle Riding Tournament.

Final Louisdor – Price

The final of the Louisdor – Prize selects the best eight to ten year old young horses in the Dressage Grand Prix. The Louisdor – Prize prepares the young horses – potential candidates for the next international championships – for the most difficult test class in dressage.

Hessenday & Show

On Thursday the best Hessian riders will put their skills to the test in the disciplines of show jumping and dressage. A show competition of the Hessian riding clubs ensures the grand finale of the first day of the tournament.

Shop & Discover

On an exhibition area of over 8,000 m2, around 100 stands offer the opportunity to shop or stroll: Discover new products from the fields of fashion, art, gifts and accessories as well as a wide range of equestrian equipment.

Charity

Also this year it is important to us to make children’s eyes shine: Support our traditional Christmas tree gift campaign and leave a small present for children in need. In addition, the “purple horse” will again set a very special caricatural accent.
